Production and/or CAD/CAM Engineer
We currently have the opportunity in our engineering department for either a FT or PT position.
Successful applicant will support the production of precision aerospace honeycomb components by using/improving established production methods, designing production fixtures and tooling, and implementing new manufacturing technology. Requires strong mechanical and analytical aptitude, excellent CAD skills, and a desire to work in a hands-on creative environment.
QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required in this position:
• Bachelors’ degree in related engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably with AutoCAD 2004+, SolidWorks 2007+, and
Rhinoceros 4
• Proficiency in CAM software, preferably both MasterCAM X+ and SurfCAM 2007+ (or
Velocity)
• Familiarity with machining precision parts from a variety of materials on 3-axis and 5-axis
CNC machinery
• Knowledge of dimensioning and tolerance standards
• General understanding of machine shop practices
• Project planning and execution
• Knowledge of standard business applications such as MS Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Effective fact-based problem solving skills applied to troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Effective written and oral communications with all levels of organization
ADDITIONAL SKILLS The requirements listed below are representative of the additional skills that will be of benefit in this position:
• Familiarity with composite material and processes
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and ISO standards
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably with Catia and UG

Production Technician
We are currently looking to fill one or more positions in our active production shop.
Successful applicant will support the production of precision aerospace honeycomb components through use of automated and manual production machinery. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to work in a creative hands-on environment.
QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
• High School diploma
• Experience in a machine shop environment; machinist skills are a plus
• Knowledge of dimensioning and tolerance standards
• General understanding of machine shop practices and equipment
• Effective fact-based problem solving skills
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Project comprehension and execution
• Familiarity with composite materials and processes is a plus
